It may seem contradicting with the title and the cover design to left brainer at first, but to most, you can tell straight up that the content going to be witty and enjoyable to read, which is so true. Got this last week, “Never Use White Type on a Black Background - And 50 other Ridiculous Design Rules” says it all. It contains heaps of inspirational quotes from famous designers and artist to support the rule. Some are true, some are not and some are just meant to be funny. I recommend this book to all designers from fashion to architecture.
If there is a law for design and the punishment would be jail term, the prison would be overcrowded. But for design, rules are meant to be broken, that’s when style is created. Go for it.
