Set to release in 2011. Long more time to go but lets hope they make it sooner. You know why? Because its a remake of a game that i use to play in my childhood and now… comes in 3D along with a soundtrack done completely by Daft Punk, mega jizz… The movie is produce by Disney so wont be expecting anything bloody and gory but at least they do great 3D films. So here is the story, someone spilled coffee on the wall at my office recently and believe it or not, the stain doesn’t come off. Then i was casually assign by my boss (most likely because i sat the nearest to the wall) to do a cover up of the spillage. The brief was to draw a life-size figure puking using only coffee as paint.
So here it is, with the help of my colleagues i did a life-size self portrait stencil and painted it with a brush and a cup of hot coffee. I dramatize the effect of puking by extending the neck connecting to the other side of the pillar. Turns out pretty decent and what did i learn? If you secretly despise a person, have a coffee at the person’s house and purposely spill coffee on their wall.

Tim Burton’s twisted version of Alice in Wonderland trailer has just been released. Normally i don’t dig musical movies, but only by Tim Burton that i would because of his dark, quirky and mysterious style and yet still appeals to children. The one and only. Wonder why Alice looks so much older? She is 19 and returning to the world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends. Interesting indeed.
The man who pioneered the art of impossible objects in the 1930s, what was later renamed the Penrise objects, which appear solid on paper, but cannot be built. It’s obvious where Delta got his inspiration from and then got to me. Playing with 3D shapes to mess with your mind, i like that. More of his work here.

Freshjive are dropping all forms of logo placements and branding on their entire collection from Spring/Summer 2010. Interesting approach in our current world where branding is all around. Let see how it goes for this.
